Part 7 - Miriam's Point of View
We sat in the grass. Harry was really worried!
Me: What will we do now?
Hermione: Well, I presume that we have to wait here until…
Harry: No way!!! I’m going to the Hospital Wing!
And Harry left us, running towards the Hospital Wing.
Ron: I think we should do the same…
Me & Hermione: Oh, well…
Ron: Come on!
And he left us too.
Me: Hey, Ron! Wait for me! I’m going too!!!
Hermione: Well… I don’t want to stay here alone… I’ll go with you too.
So, we ran after Harry towards the Hospital Wing.
Ron: Harry! Wait for us!!!
Harry: Alright! Thanks for coming!
Me: You don’t need to thank us, we’re your friends!
Harry smiled. When we arrived to the Hospital Wing, we saw Nymphadora on a bed. Madam Pomfrey and Madam Hooch were near her.
Hermione: I’m sorry, Madam Hooch. But we wanted to be near our friend.
Madam Hooch: I understand.
Me: What happened to her?
Madam Pomfrey: I don’t really know yet… how was she this morning?
Me: Well… she was alright when she woke up… but she didn’t want to wake up…
Hermione: I think she went to bed really late… and this morning Fred and George threw her on the shower… with cold water…
Madam Pomfrey: No one faints because of cold water, Miss Granger!
Hermione: I know… but…
Me: She is a Metamorphic…
Ron: How do you know?
Me: The colour of her hair changes!!!
Madam Pomfrey: That’s right, Miss Evelyn! Could you go to the library, please?
Me: Of course! Which book should I search, Madam Pomfrey?
Madam Pomfrey: “The Colours of a Metamorphic”.
Me: Alright! Would you come with me, Hermione?
Hermione: Yes, sure!
Ron: Can I go too?
Me: Of course! Let’s go!
So, we left the Hospital Wing. Harry was now alone with Nymphadora and Madam Pomfrey.
Hermione: Welcome to the library, Miriam!
Me: Thanks!
We entered in the library. A woman came towards us.
Woman: What do you want?
Hermione: Good morning, Madame Pince!
Me: We are looking for a book called “The Colours of a Metamorphic”.
Madam Pince: Humm… that’s an interesting book… why do you want it?
Ron: We need it to help our friend! Quickly!!!
Madam Pince: Ok, ok! It’s over there! *She pointed to a little bookcase*
We ran towards the bookcase and I grabbed the book. We spent twenty minutes searching for something which could help us to understand what happened to Nymphadora, but we didn’t found anything.
Ron: Oh… this book is helpless…
Me: Wait!!! Look at this topic: “How to defeat a Metamorphic”.
Hermione: Is that useful?
Me: Of course! It says that “The best way to defeat a Metamorphic is to make the metamorphic people faint in a deep sleep, which cans last forever… To do this, you need cold water and a fairy. Much people don’t know, but wet metamorphics are allergic to fairies. So, to make a metamorphic faint, you need to put him or her in very cold water and then, put a fairy near the metamorphic. If the fairy is powerful, only her cans make the metamorphic wake up again, but if the fairy is young, the metamorphic will wake up in a few hours.”
Ron: Ok, there wasn’t any fairy when she fainted…
Me: Not a fairy… but a fairy’s granddaughter…
Hermione: I do not understand…
Me: I am…I am a fairy’s granddaughter…
Ron: You?
Me: Yes, me!!! But I didn’t know that metamorphics are allergic to fairies. And I’m not a fairy, so… I think she’ll be ok…
Hermione: I hope so…
Ron: Let’s return to the Hospital Wing…
We ran towards the Hospital Wing. When we arrived, we saw Harry with a smile in his face.
Harry: Nymphadora woke up!!!
Me: That’s wonderful!!! When?
Harry: Some minutes after you’ve left the Hospital Wing…
I ran to Nymphadora and hugged her.
Me: Oh, I’m so happy that you are ok!!!!
Nymphadora noticed my worried face and asked me if I knew anything. So, I explained her and Madame Pomfrey what I’ve just read in that book…
