Part 22 - Nymphadora's point of View
Harry’s Point of View
Miriam: I agree with Harry…
Me: You… I know what happened! It’s all your fault! She had a cold shower and then you appeared, so, she fainted! That’s why you were going to the forest!
Miriam: No… you’re completely wrong, Harry!
Me: No, I’m right! It’s your fault! My girlfriend is dying and it’s your fault!
I wasn’t thinking what I said. I knew that Miriam would take it too seriously… I don’t why, I was mad. I needed to have someone to feel guilty about Nymphadora. She started crying and she went out of the Hospital Wing.
Hermione: Harry?! Why did you do this?
Me: I don’t know! I DON’T KNOW!!
Hermione: I think you’re too upset and too tired to think correctly, I mean, see how you made Miriam!
Me: Listen. It’s raining, and Miriam was the one who approached Dora first, she had water and blood all over her, Miriam’s presence aggravated the case!!
Hermione: Have you completely lost your mind?! Miriam is not the one who is responsible; she tries to help Dora and you!
I haven’t notice but everyone was looking at us. No one tries to stop us to argue which was surprising. I’ve noticed that Wood came in.
Me: What are you doing here Wood?
Oliver: I just want to know how she is…
Me: She is… she is…. *start crying* dying… My Dora is dying… *cry harder*.
Oliver: Harry, I think Hermione’s right, you need to have some rest…
Me: NO!! I have to wait for Dora to wake. I’m sure she’ll wake up at any moment… very soon… very soon… she has to.
Oliver looked at me like I was mental, but in a way, I think he understands me…
Then, I saw Ron and Mimi coming back. Miriam was walking so slowly… I could see that she had cried. Ron was half holding her.
Me: Mimi, what happened?
Ron: She faint just few minutes ago…
Me: Why?
Ron: I don’t really know, she is really sad about Dora’s stuff… and how you scream at her. I mean, she is really sensible, you shouldn’t have screamed like this…
So, I went to see Miriam.
Me: Miriam?
Miriam: Yes? Oh, it’s you, what do you want? I supposed you need to pass your nerves ache on someone, just try someone else!
Me: Hey, I’m sorry about earlier. I know it ‘s not your fault, but I was thinking that maybe it messed up a bit worse that the fact it was raining and all… anyway, I’m sorry.
Miriam: It’s okay. You’re upset and tired, I can understand.
Me: What happened, up there?
Miriam: Well, I sort of pass out…
Me: Why?
Miriam: I don’t know, I fell over the stairs, I felt weak and my necklace was shining…
Me: it’s weird.
Miriam: Yes… Harry?
Me: Yeah?
Miriam: You should rest, you look tired.
Me: I’m okay.
Miriam rolled her eyes. Ron was talking to the twins. Then I saw him turning in my direction. They nodded their heads.
So I decided to go to them.
Me: Guys, what are you up to?
Fred: We were thinking that if Dora wakes up, it’ll probably be just before or during the Christmas holidays. We were thinking that maybe she could stay at our house. What do you think?
Me: I think she’d love it. That’s a good idea guys!
Ron: And of course, you’ll come. It won’t be funny without you! J
Me: thanks, I’d like that.
Ron: I’m going to ask Miriam and Hermione if they want to come too.
Georges: You won’t need to ask your wife Won-Won, she’ll say *girly voice* YEEEEESSSS!!
Ron: Shut up!
Me: J
Mrs Pomfrey came out.
Mrs Pomfrey: The ones who want to say their goodbye to Miss Tonks, they can come in, but one by one, quietly.
I saw everyone turning to me.
Me: You can go first, I’ll go last, I want to go with her, don’t forget. I’ll be with her along the way… *sad J*
So, Hermione went in first, then Oliver, then the twins, Ron, Miriam, Ginny… and they all left after this. When they came out, even the twins were crying…
Mrs & Mr Weasley have arrived with Dumbledore. Everyone came back at once.
Dumbledore: Good evening everyone… Mr Potter.
Me: Good evening sir.
Dumbledore: I’m really sorry for your girlfriend, Harry.
Me: thanks…
Dumbledore: Mrs & Mr Weasley have just arrived; they agreed to take care of Miss Tonks until her parents wants her back.
I thought ‘Why? He said ‘wants her back’, it means that they know about their daughter and they don’t even want to see her?? They are rejecting her! Merlin! ‘
Everyone seems to have noticed that too. Mrs Weasley murmured something to her husband but I didn’t hear it.
Mrs Weasley: Can we see her?
Dumbledore: Sure, but I think it’s Harry’s turn to see her… am I right?
Me: Yes sir, but you can go first Mrs Weasley, I’ll be with her anyway after…
Mrs Weasley: What do you mean by ‘after’?
Me: It means that I’m going to St Mangost with her.
Mrs Weasley was about to replied something but I could see that she understands how I feel.
She taped my shoulder and she says: ’Good boy!’
And she and Mr Weasley came in.
Mrs Weasley let a little cry coming out and I saw Mr Weasley holding her hand to reassure her.
Then, they came out of the room, it was my turn. They looked at me. I saw sadness in their eyes.
I passed them, and I walk through those wooden doors I’ve sat in front of for so much time.
Then, I saw her.
Mrs Pomfrey must have changed the sheets of the bed because I could see bloody ones in a basket over there.
I was watching her. Completely unconscious. She has a scratch on her forehead and I guess there was another one behind her head, the deeper.
She was pale and her lips were not like the yare usually… full of life, kind of light pink with a smile on it. Here, she had closed eyes, grey hair and skin. I took her hands in mine. It was so cold.
Me: I don’t want to lose you honey… I love you, please; be brave, hang on, don’t leave me. I’m here. I always will…. Don’t leave me *crying hard*
I let my head falling on her belly, like we did once, when I slept on her stomach. I heard her heart beat. It feels so good to hear it again.
Then, I feel someone touching my shoulder.
I turned to see Mrs Weasley. She probably heard me because she was crying too. The others were coming too.
Me: Is it time?
Mrs Pomfrey: Yes, it’s time for her to leave.
Hermione: Harry, here, I’ve brought you some of your clothes and Dora’s ones. *crying* I hope she’ll be okay. Please be careful. Both of you.
Me: Don’t worry. How are you leaving?
Mr Weasley: its bit dangerous to move her to much if we go by flowpowder, so we’ll take her by a special portkey which goes very slowly, it’s a St Mangoust one. So if you please, take Nymphadora’s hand, I’ll take the other one. Don’t forget your stuff.
I took Dora’s hand and the trunk that Hermione brought me. They waved goodbye and soon, we appeared into St Mangoust Hospital.
Nurses were running everywhere. They made me dropped Dora’s hand, they put her on a sliver, and they lead her into a restricted section: reanimation.
Something went wrong while we appeared…
Me: What’s happening?
Nurse: Don’t worry; we’ll take care of her. Stay here.
So I sit down, not knowing what to do, what to think
Few minutes later, nurses came out, doctors too, one turned to face me and Mr Weasley.
Mr Weasley: What happened?
Doctor: She had lost a lot of blood…
Me: is she alive?
Doctor: yes, but she’s very weak. And we almost lost her… she still in coma. We just have to wait until she wakes up. I can take a long time… 2 days, 2 hours, 2 months, 2 years, we don’t know…
Me: Can we see her?
Doctor: no, not yet. They are preparing her room, you’ll see her here.
Me: thanks.
