Part 15 - Miriam's Point of View
I was sat near the lake and I didn’t want to talk to anyone… well, except Ron.
I was so sad… why was Draco doing that? I thought he was cool… but he isn’t. And I have to work with him in Potions classes…
Then, I heard someone coming. I thought it was Ron, but when I turned, I saw that it was Nymphadora and I didn’t want to talk to her.
Nymphadora: Mimi, can I talk to you?
Me: No!
Nymphadora: Let me explain!
Me: No!
Nymphadora: I don’t care, you will listen to me. I’m sorry for yelling at you. I was stupid to believe Draco. Look.
Me: Why did you change your mind?
Nymphadora: Harry is here.
Me: Oh Harry… I see…
Nymphadora: *smile* Shhhhh!!!
Me: I’m sorry. I should be more tolerant about the fact that you don’t have your memory back yet. I understand that you can get confused by what could happen.
Nymphadora: Still, I shouldn’t have yelled at you.
Me: Anyway, I should go to Ron.
Nymphadora: Oh Ron… I see….
Me:*smile* Shhhhh!!!
Nymphadora: Alright. I’ll be back to Harry if you don’t mind…
Me: Go!
So, she left me.
I was happy now, because me and Nymphadora were friends again. And it’s really good to have friends!
I decided to go back to the castle, but I saw something very strange: the necklace that Aislin gave me was emitting light… then, I felt that I was being attracted to the forest. I decided to get out of there, so I started to run towards the castle.
I collided with someone…
Someone: Hey! Where are you going, Evelyn?
Me: Get out of my way, Malfoy!!!
Draco: Why? Don’t you like my presence?
Me: To be honest… NO!!!!
Draco: Don’t yell at me… I’m trying to be nice…
Me: YOU’LL NEVER BE NICE!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!
Draco: Hey! Calm down… We can become friends…
Me: I don’t think so, Malfoy! No one would want to be your friend!
Draco: Don’t be rude, Evelyn…
Me: I’m telling the truth… Oh, but of course, you don’t even know what “tell the truth” means…
Draco: Look, your dear Weasley is coming!
Me: That’s great! Good bye, Malfoy!
Draco: Humm… I don’t think so…
Me: What do you want?
Draco: Nymphadora isn’t my girlfriend but… you can be!
Me: Of course not! Leave me alone!
Draco: No! I won’t let you go…
He grabbed my arm and he was really hurting me. Ron was coming.
Ron: Mimi! Here you are! I’ve been looking for y…
But he couldn’t finish what he was going to say, because Draco tried to kiss me.
Me: What are you doing?
Draco: Come on… you don’t need to pretend anymore, sweetheart… Weasley saw everything…
Me: What?! Ron!!! Wait!!!
I was going to run after Ron, but Draco grabbed my arm again and yelled:
Draco: SEE, WEASLEY? SHE’S MY GIRLFRIEND!!!
Me: NO! I’M NOT!!! LEAVE ME ALONE, YOU VERMIN!!!
And I started to run after Ron. I found him in the 6th floor.
Me: Here you are! I’ve been looking for you too…
Ron: Go! Your boyfriend wants to be with you…
Me: Draco Malfoy isn’t and never will be my boyfriend!
Ron: Yeah, right…
Me: Why don’t you believe me?
Ron: Because he tried to kiss you…
Me: Yes, he tried… but he didn’t kiss me! I would never let him do that!
Ron: Really? Why?
Me: Because… I…I…love...y…*I blushed* I mean, I don’t love him.
Ron: *he smiled* Well, I’m sorry if I were rude to you…
Me: Don’t be… Let’s return to the Common Room!
Ron: Alright.
We were walking towards Gryffindor’s Common Room when we met Professor McGonagall.
Professor McGonagall: Mr. Weasley! Miss Evelyn! Good morning!
Me: Good morning, Professor!
Professor McGonagall: I would like to inform you that we’ll have a Halloween Party tomorrow.
Ron: That’s great!
Professor McGonagall: Please, don’t forget to inform your schoolmates!
Me: We won’t!
Professor McGonagall: Well, have a nice day!
Me: Thank you!
And she left us.
Me: A Halloween Party… cool!!!
Ron: Humm… Mimi?
Me: Yes?
Ron: Would you like to… to… to go to the party… with me?
Me: Yes!!! I’d love to!!!
We both smiled. I was really happy!!!
Then, we went to our Common Room, hand-by-hand.
Ron: I hate that Malfoy!
Me: You aren’t the only one…
Ron: Yeah… what will we dress for tomorrow?
Me: I don’t know…
Ron: Humm… I was thinking… we could dress as vampires.
Me: Yeah!!! That’s great!!!
Ron: Alright!!! You’ll be a wonderful vampire… *he whispered*
Me: You too… *I whispered in his ear*
We smiled.
When we entered in the Common Room, we saw Nymphadora and Harry…
It seemed that they were talking about something important.
Me: I’m sorry if we’re disturbing you…
Ron: Yes… we’re going to my dormitory…
Harry: Humm… what are you going to do? *he laughed*
Me: We’re going to arrange our costumes for tomorrow…
Nymphadora: What will happen tomorrow?
Me: Professor McGonagall told us that we’ll have a Halloween Party tomorrow.
Nymphadora: And are you two *she pointed towards me and Ron* going together?
Ron: Yes!
Me: Alright, we’re going upstairs. See you later!
